It is hard to believe but Thanksgiving is once again right around the corner. It’s a day we look forward to with anticipation; a delicious turkey dinner, time with family and friends, and the start of the holiday season. But in the midst of all the excitement and celebration we never forget about the most important shopping day of the year — Black Friday .

Although, traditionally, Black Friday has been the Friday following Thanksgiving, retailers have pushed the time earlier and earlier. Now many stores are open the night before and great deals can be found online as early as the week of Thanksgiving.

While many people rely on Black Friday to get the perfect gift for that hard to buy for family member at a great price, this is also a great time to get some must have items for yourself…like tires.

Tires have a long reputation for needing to be frequently replaced and for costing a small fortune. However, if you know that your tires are starting to wear and that they will need to be replaced soon this is a great time to buy. Many manufacturers offer rebates if you buy so many within a designated time frame. This is also a great time of year for tire stores to offer discounts on older model tires in preparation for the newer models that will be arriving early in the new year.

If you have wanted to customize your ride but are waiting for the right time, this would be the perfect time to take advantage of some great pricing. Whether you are looking for centerline wheels or chrome rims, special holiday pricing and rebates can help you get just what you want for a more affordable price. As with tires, this is the time of year when the old inventory needs to be moved so the new inventory can come in; which could add up to a great deal for you.

In the past Black Friday had always been known as the day to get all your Christmas shopping done for a blowout price or get that giant screen TV. that you’ve been eyeing. And that is still very much true. But it is also a great day to cross some of the things off of your own list and put a few dollars back into your own wallet by getting a great Black Friday deal on your tires.
