Falken Tires Ziex ZE960 A/S Passenger All Season Tire

The new Ziex ZE960 is the successor to the ZE950, a mega tire line with more than 105 sizes including touring sizes and those for CUVs. <p>Falken has redesigned the ZE960 with a goal of providing a more-consistent performance throughout the tire's life. <p>Falken has built grooves, which it is calling Flask sipes, into the tread. <p>These grooves actually widen as the tire wears, maintaining good water evacuation. <p>Designers also improved snow traction through the use of a dual-sloped groove. <p>Overall, the ZE960 has 10 percent better-wet braking and about 15 percent better wear than the 950. <p>Wet handling, dry handling, snow traction, and rolling resistance also have been improved, while noise, comfort, and dry braking are similar to the previous tire.
