The Bridgestone DriveGuard 3G RFT is the first run-flat tire designed for vehicles that didn’t originally come with run-flat tires.
Bridgestone manufactures world-class tires for nearly every kind of vehicle, from a kart tire that stands only 10 inches high to a 13-foot-tall giant radial for earth-moving equipment. In addition, Bridgestone is also recognized internationally for producing a variety of other products, including building and industrial materials, natural rubber, and industrial fibers and textiles.

Our Mini has the requirement for runflat tires since there is no room for a spare. I was not thrilled by the engineering decision since anywhere in Texas could be more than 50 miles from anywhere else. After 3 years now, I have changed my mind and here is why. This is my wife's car, she drives over 100/day and sometimes late at night. We live over 55 miles from her work. It's imperative her tires be able to make the journey and handle the tough roads and distances in rural Texas. Her last blowout happened at 10pm on her way home, over 50 miles away. I told her to keep coming and I would meet her half way. The tire made it all the way home as marketed, but here's the kicker, we drove it an additional 30 miles to get to Discount Tire. The side wall had a hole big enough to stick your whole fist and it made the entire journey flat. Even Discount Tire was amazed. So if you are looking for a reliable tire, even flat, give them a try. You won't be sorry.
