Performance Plus Tire & Auto Center ships most of its products via FedEx Ground, and occasionally Golden State and Custom Companies. Shipping usually takes 4-10 business days unless otherwise notified. At this time we do not ship to PO BOXES or via APO. You must provide us with a physical address when placing your order. We are not responsible for delays incurred after departure from our side. Most orders are shipped within two business days, assuming that the merchandise is in stock. If your order contains mounted tires and wheels, an extra day or two is normally needed for the mounting and balancing. Most merchandise is shipped from our warehouse in California, but we sometimes are able to expedite shipping from a closer warehouse and will drop ship orders from a manufacturer or distributor warehouse when possible. In the event of a back-order situation, we will either ship the merchandise directly from the factory or notify you of the delay.
Most orders ship within 2 business days after placing your order providing all of the merchandise is in stock. Orders placed on the weekend are not processed until the following Monday. Special order items will take additional time and Performance Plus Tire & Auto will relay to you the time the manufacturer has given us for them to produce your wheels. In the event of a back-order situation, we will either ship the merchandise directly from the factory or notify you of the delay.
Working and Business Days
Working and business days are Monday through Friday and do not include weekend days or recognized holidays. The only shipments which are delivered on Saturday are the upgraded service packages by FedEx at an additional cost shipped next day air, second day air, and three day select. Please note that these packages also are the only shipments which can have a guaranteed delivery day.
Damaged and Lost Packages
If your shipment has arrived damaged, please contact Performance Plus Tire & Auto Customer Service (888-926-2689) immediately to report the damage. If you take longer than 48 hours to report the damage, the shipping company will not accept responsibility for any damages. In the event your items arrive damaged, please have all packaging material for inspection. Be prepared for the carrier to inspect and pick up the damaged merchandise.
Merchandise must be completely repackaged in the original packing for return. Performance Plus Tire & Auto Customer Service (888-926-2689) must be contacted within 24-hours of delivery to report the damage and schedule a reshipment.
Lost packages must be reported to Performance Plus Tire & Auto Customer Service (888-926-2689) immediately!
Merchandise covered by a manufacturer’s warranty is sold with the warranty by the manufacturer extended to the purchaser. We will be happy to assist in obtaining fulfillment of a manufacturer’s warranty. Other than applicable manufacturers’ warranties, there are no warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
All our recommended packages* are built to fit your vehicle as is, with no modifications and with no problems, such as rubbing Bigger size rims come with lower profile tires, so the overall tire diameter remains the same as your original tires. However, we always double check all orders (including test fit when necessary) to make sure that website recommendations were accurate. If we sell you a package which doesn’t fit your vehicle we will send you a replacement. If a replacement is not available Performance Plus Tire & Auto will issue call tags to return product back to us. As long as the product is returned in good condition we will issue a full refund including freight. Our fitment guarantee does not apply to modified or altered vehicles.
Not Recommended Fitment
If Performance Plus Tire & Auto sells you product and it is not recommended to fit your vehicle, we do not take any responsibility for fitment. Before product is shipped we would need a wavier to release us of fitment problems, faxed our office at (562)981-2688.
Returns and Refunds
All returns or cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee of total amount fee plus shipping charges to and from Performance Plus Tire if applicable. The restocking fee also applies to shipments that are refused. If the return is for a Wheel and Tire Package, the customer will also be assessed an $80 per set dismounting fee for all wheel sizes. If error was on our part, such as fitment issues, you shall be refunded in full. Performance Plus Tire & Auto will not take any product that has been mounted, install, used or altered in any way. Product must be in original packaging. Return and refund offer is good for 30 days after product is received. There are no Returns or Refunds on special order items.Please call Toll free (888)926-2689 for a Return Authorization Number. Packages must be pack properly and if packages are returned to Performance Plus Tire and are damaged due to faulty packaging, credit will not be issued.
Requesting Authorization For A Return
If you need to return or exchange an item, please call Toll free (888)926-2689 for a Return Authorization Number. All merchandise must be new. Every return is subject to inspection. If it is deemed that damage to the product is a result of road hazards, such as a car accident, or curb scraping, Performance Plus Tire & Auto is not obligated to grant a refund. If the return is deemed to be a fault on the part of the manufacturer or our own, we will refund you in full. We are dedicated to customer satisfaction, and will do everything to resolve any issues. Yet, we cannot grant refunds and accept returns for merchandise damaged due to events outside of our control. Credit will be granted less shipping charges. Performance Plus Tire & Auto will refund shipping charges only if there was error on our side. There are no Returns or Refunds on special order items.
All cancelled orders are charged a 20% processing fee. This fee is non-refundable unless there was an error on our part, such as fitment issues. If the cancellation is our fault, you shall be refunded in full. There are no cancellations on special order items!

Errors In Pricing
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Performance Plus Tire & Auto shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for a product listed at the incorrect price. Performance Plus Tire & Auto shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Performance Plus Tire & Auto shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect transaction.
Free Freight Offer
Performance Plus is offering free freight for a limited time on all tire and wheel packages, tires must be less than 35″ in diameter to qualify. On orders that we will be shipping to you, Performance Plus will also mount and high speed balance your tires and wheels at no charge (not available in store!). Free freight is for customers within the 48 Continental States. Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico do not qualify for the Free Freight Offer. Tire and Wheel packages will be shipped via FedEx Ground, Custom Companies, or GSO. We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes and APOs. There will be a boxing charge on every order, the amount is between $19.00 and $45.00 per order of 4 Wheels and Tires. Free freight or free shipping is not available when purchasing accessories alone (caps, lug nuts, TPMS sensors, etc.).
Use of Searches & Selectors
Use of any application or sections of the Performance Plus Tire & Auto website including but not exclusive to the tire selector, car selector, wheel selector, and all search utilities are at the discretion and risk of the user. Performance Plus Tire & Auto will not take responsibility for any damages, physical, mental, or electronic (as in the loss or corruption of data) as a direct or indirect result of using the Performance Plus Tire & Auto and any of its sections. The tire, car and wheel selectors have been designed to allow for the convenience of making an educated decision about which wheel or tire to purchase. We cannot be responsible for any fitment problems in case wheels/tires were not purchased from us.
